This miniature stop motion set was 1 out of 5 highly detailed sets built for the advertisement campaign for Bristol apartments ‘Box Makers Yard’. The final animation can be found here.
The set has been built to closely match the actual furniture and interior design of the Box Makers Yard apartments. Every detail was scaled down to 1:5 scale and constructed to be solid and secure for stop motion animation purposes.
One of the most interesting challenges of this set was to create the miniature lamps from scratch with working practical lights inside. A very fiddly job that required very thin wire that could only be soldered when already in place, but the end result brings a beautiful warm and cozy atmosphere to the scene.
