Flavour note models

I was commissioned by Kesslers London to design and build ten different model arrangements for a retail display for Pernod Ricard to represent the flavour notes of different whiskeys.

The cloche arrangements include life-size realistic resin fruits from orange slices to coconut pieces, from raisins, fudge and liquorice to 3d printed honeycomb with dripping resin ‘honey’. Final touches included handcrafted orange blossom, vanilla flowers and grassy peat ‘soil’.

More than 30 different moulds were created to cast, paint and craft each individual piece, including the copper bases and pillars. All 10 pieces were assembled into one solid structure for packing and transportation to the final exhibition display.
